Great example of a Grandpa tall tale! This story is fun for adults to read to children and for children to have read to them. For that matter, it's fun just to read to yourself. The illustrations are excellent, but this story would be fun for listeners or readers to just use their imagination. It brings a smile to the heart which is even better than a smile on your face.

I remember reading this book to my baby brother. This book was my baby brother's favorite and we had to read it everynight before bedtime. Now I have introduced it to my little ones, twin 3 1/2 year old boys. They love this story. It gets them giggling and creating their own food storms. We enjoy reading it also to the boys.

This book has a great story line! I originally purchased this book for my 3 yr old but it seems its a little too advanced for her age group although we still love to read it… It arrived in a very timely manner, it was of great quality and was exact as described by the seller. Would definitely recommend this book for approx ages 5-ish.

This is a great story with beautiful illustrations. I purchased this as a gift/decor for a friends baby shower and it was a big hit! It definitely brought back tons of memories for moms and a few inner kids as well.

Good Night Lullabies My two grandsons, ages 4 and 6, liked this book a lot. It appealed to their imaginations and the illustrations were excellent. The story loses a bit of momentum at the end, and lost the kid's interest a bit. But, overall, a fun book.

This was a rather zany, light-hearted picture book with whimsical artwork. Encourage children to think of possible consequences if precipitation were more than rain, snow, sleet, and hail. Spark their creativity. Have fun!

I love this book! Its so imaginative and creative. I had to buy one for my son and another one for his class. The illustrations are very detailed. If you look closely at each page you can find something new each time.

The first time I read this, I was laughing hysterically with my eight year old. Then he asked for me to read it over and over. Yes, its a bit long for those tired nights but every time, it makes me laugh. My four year old likes it now too.

This is a story which kept my grandchildren enchanted for years. And not only would they enjoy having it read once but
multiple times. When they were able to read, it was a favorite book to which they gravitated. Just bought a copy for
an expected great-grandchild who, I expect, will love it as well.
